Is The Hills going to be the next show to make a comeback! The crew reunited at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 20, and they announced some ~big news~ — a reboot! The show will be called The Hills: New Beginnings and it’s “coming soon” to MTV!

The exciting news was revealed in a 30 second trailer featuring an acoustic version of Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten,” which all Hills fans will remember was the show’s theme song.

Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, Heidi and Spencer Pratt, and more of the squad chatted with Vinny and Pauly D from Jersey Shore during the red carpet pre-show, and they teased that something big was going to happen later that night. Whitney built even more panic when she said “everything MIGHT happen” at the show on Twitter.

“Don’t play with my emotions Whitney!” said one cautious fan. “Don’t tease me girl!” agreed another. While pretty much everyone expected the group to announce that they’re going to have a comeback like Jersey Shore, many fans had one MAJOR complaint.

The Hills coming back without THE QUEEN LAUREN CONRAD? Bye!” said one pissed off fan. Many others noticed L.C.’s absense at the VMAs and really don’t want a reboot without the former star. “IT’S NOT THE REUNITED CAST OF THE HILLS IF LAUREN ISN’T THERE,” said another shook supporter. “How tf you gon have the hills without lauren conrad. BYEEEEE,” agreed a third.

Still, fans seem very excited that this is happening. “Omg please let The Hills come back..haven’t been the same since,” said one thrilled follower. Of course it’ll be much different from when they were all kids just interning. The girls are all moms now, and we can’t wait to see how they handle it on the show!
