When it comes to awards shows, half the fun of watching is watching Taylor Swift watch the show from the audience.
Not only does the 24-year-old blonde beauty have the best “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I just won!” surprised face in showbiz, but she's also known to really get into the musical performances and have a great time.
And, of course, the 2014 Grammy Awards were no exception.
Let’s just say if there were an award for “most emotive, animated audience member,” Taylor would win every year.
Check out some of our fave Taylor expressions from the show:
Tay sparkled—literally—in this super chic, gold lamè Gucci Première gown that showed off her killer bod.
Everything, from her bold eyes to her soft pink lips, looked incredible—and she knew it!
When Beyoncé and Jay Z opened the show, the energy was so intense that we could feel it from our living room!
Tay got really into the moment, but compared to Bey’s killer moves… Tay’s routine fell a little short.
One of the best parts of LL Cool J’s opening monologue was when he shouted out to Taylor, and gave her props for teaching girls to call out boys for treating them poorly.
While we’re sure Taylor is sick of being reminded she writes a lot of breakup songs, she seized the moment and embraced the opportunity for girl power.
Umm, is it just us or is Taylor’s expression reminiscent of Olympian McKayla Maroney’s infamous “not impressed” face?
You can tell this isn’t Tay’s first time at the rodeo, and she’s all “been there, done that…”
Just imagine a day in the life of Taylor Swift for a second.
You’re sitting in one of the best seats in the house, at one of the most epic concerts of all time.
All of sudden, this tiny man (remember… you’re 5-foot-10 and in heels) sitting near you tries to get your attention to tell you a joke and then you realize—that’s Bruno Mars! And you’re Taylor freakin’ Swift!
So naturally, you just giggle like little schoolgirls during the show.
The starlet got really into her performance of “All Too Well”—like, really into it.
We think she did great...although we’re a little confused about this move.
Either she was really inspired by the epic rock music at the show last night (Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin both won), or she was taking Willow Smith’s advice to "Whip Her Hair" literally.
We’d like to think the dramatic pose Taylor held at the end of the performance was something she picked up when hanging out with the Victoria’s Secret Angels before she hit the runway with them last year.
NCIS actress Pauly Perrette was working social media backstage, including the mirror selfie camera.
Tay redefined “#SelfieSunday” when she struck a pose! Check out the epic result:

Who knew she was such a big fan of Kendrick Lamar? Even if you’re not feeling her moves, you have to admit… she’s dedicated.
When it came time to announce the winner of Album of the Year, Alicia Keys said “Random Access Memories”—the name of Daft Punk’s album.
But when Tay heard the first syllable, it looks like she may have thought she heard “Red,” the name of her own nominated album… Awkward!
