<p><span></span>All season long, fans of <em>The Real Housewives of Atlanta</em> have wondered whether <strong>Cynthia Bailey</strong> would get cold feet before her big day. Now <em>Life & Style</em> can reveal that the series' newest member did make it to the altar -- for the fairy-tale wedding of a lifetime! On July 24, the stunning model, 43, wed her beau of 3½ years, Peter Thomas, before 200 of their closest family and friends at Atlanta's grand Fernback Museum of Natural History. "I felt 100 percent sure when I got ready to walk down the aisle," Cynthia, who walked down the aisle in a one-of-a-kind platinum-silver Rubin Singer creation, tells <em>Life & Style</em>. "Peter is the one."</p>
Fellow Atlanta Housewives NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Sheree Whitfield came out for Cynthia's nuptials, planned with the help of wedding planner Tony Conway of A Legendary Event. "I love that they were there," says the bride, who adds that close friend NeNe gave her "a lot of solid advice" -- and a sexy garter for good luck!
The wedding -- which airs on the Bravo series' season finale on Jan. 30 -- was a joyous event. "It was an incredibly emotional day," says the head-over-heels newlywed, recalling the tears she shed while she and Peter recited the vows they'd written. "It was exactly the day I wanted, and we couldn't be happier!"
