Wait — is that Lady Gaga on The Voice?!

It's not, but contestant Melanie Martinez sure looks the part with her super straight 'do with a bow on top. On last night's show, the 17-year-old gave an incredibly haunting performance of the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army."

So how did the Team Adam hopeful get the perfect look for her latest number? With the help of The Voice's hairstylist Shawn Finch and makeup artist Darcy Gilmore.

"Melanie is used to having full and curly hair," Shawn tells Life & Style. "If you've been watching the show, she's had several looks, but none have included straight and sleek hair."

"I thought it would suit her face and the straight hair would really make her two-tone hair color pop," he continues.

And here's how the process went down.

"We smoothed her hair with a flat iron and then teased the crown of her head for volume," Shawn shares. "We added some shine spray, which helps get the healthy hair look, then used wax to tame any fly-aways. And, of course, no Melanie look is complete without a sweet wardrobe coordinated bow on top."

As for the makeup, Darcy says, "We kept it simple by using neutral colors to round out her pretty eyes and a shimmer with a little 'umph' to make them stand out."

"A cream colored pencil was used on her waterline to open up her eyes and give her more of a doll like look," Darcy tells Life & Style. "The blush was soft and warm rosy colors and a subtle highlight to show off her beautiful cheeks and face."

But where were her trademark red lips?

"We went with a more neutral lip color," Darcy says. "She always loves a good lipstick. Using a similar cream pencil that we used on her eye, her lips were highlighted and given crisp defined edges, filled in entirely with a neutral lip pencil, then we used lip balm and lipstick to finish."

And just like her night, Melanie certainly had a winning look.
