A theater unintentionally showed the beginning of the much-anticipated R-rated film Fifty Shades of Grey to an audience of youngsters and their parents who were excitingly waiting for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water this past Monday.
One spectator, Joe Jaramillo, took his granddaughter to the 11:45 a.m. showing of the animated movie, and said they only played a small part of the beginning of the steamy flick. “It was the parents' reaction to it that was so funny,” he said.

"Some were moving pretty fast to get the kids out of the theater. The family sitting behind me said what I was thinking: 'Am I in the right theater?'"
‘Fifty Shades’ is an erotic romance film about a college graduate named Anastasia Steele (played by Dakota Johnson) who begins a sadomasochistic relationship with young businessman Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan).
Mr. Grey certainly does not live in a pineapple under the sea; therefore, the parents were shocked when the film presented itself onscreen at the MetroLux 14 theater in Loveland, Colo.
As reported by 'USA Today,' the film went blank and the children's movie trailers started to show. (Phew!)
Hey, we’re almost certain some of those parents WERE NOT complaining!
