What some people will do for love is truly mind-blowing!
Individuals around the world are undergoing extreme makeovers all because of the elite dating site Beautiful People.
Since its launch in 2003, the site — which prides itself on having the most gorgeous singles — has turned away 7.5 million applicants because of their looks. The judging process? The 800,000 members, who are given 48 hours to determine whether hopefuls are attractive enough to join their ranks.

The rejection has caused former applicants to undergo surgery, spend hours in the gym and change up their diet for a chance to be part of the Beautiful People family.
"I was rejected by [the site] so many times, so I decided to change my life to boost my confidence," German student Alexander Siegwardt [see below] said about his reason for undergoing a drastic lifestyle change.
"I worked out 7 times a week for 9 months now and I simply enjoy my transformation as much the attention and interest from others that I get."

If you think that's intense, wait until you hear what Beautiful People's managing director, Greg Hodge, had to say about the site's other hopefuls!
"Because there are no limits to the number of times a rejected applicant can attempt to re-apply, it is not unusual for us to see three, four or sometimes more than 20 attempts to get through our very stringent voting-in process," Hodge shares.
The company has even started a mentoring service for those eager to be accepted, "pairing some of our most successful members who are also professional beauty experts, stylists and confidence coaches with beautiful hopefuls who don't know how to improve their looks."

We find it ironic that Beautiful People also functions as a dating website, given the majority of people have to be either A) Super insecure or B) Super narcissistic. What a wonderful way to find a meaningful relationship (sarcasm).
