The original BacheloretteTrista Sutter suffered a seizure while on vacation with her family in Croatia.
The mother-of-two shared the scary news on Instagram, posting a selfie from her bed after revealing she fell on her daughter's chest and started turning blue. The reality star was in the Eastern European country to celebrate her mother-in-law's 70th birthday, but instead of an "adventure," she ended up in a hospital.
"I have an expiration date," she started the emotional post. "I've always envisioned that date being sometime after my kids have graduated college, met the loves of their lives and created families of their own, but I was reminded yesterday that it could come anytime, in any country, whether I'm surrounded by strangers or people I love, or neither, or both."
She went on to vow to live life to the fullest and shared her newfound perspective with her followers.
"To stress less. To love more," she added. "To listen. Be kind. Spread joy. To be a better version of myself as a wife, mother, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, neighbor, daughter, and friend."
Trista went on to thank her husband of 13 years Ryan Sutter, with whom she tied the knot with in 2003 after meeting on the reality dating competition. The couple also shares son Maxwell, 9, and daughter, Blakesley Grace, 8, together.
"Thank you to my family, especially @ryansutter," she wrote. "Without you, I don't know that I would be here today. You are my everything and I love you forevermore."
She continued, "Tell the people you love how you feel and live with grateful enthusiasm. I plan to."
