It’s the interview we’ve all been waiting for. Tyga got super candid about his breakup from Kylie Jenner during a chat with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club gang on Thursday, July 20 — and he seems to think the reality star got more out of the relationship than he did.

“I knew she had a lot of potential, and I felt like I was put in that position to help her,” the rapper told host Charlamagne Tha God. “Before I got with her, people in the urban world weren’t talking about her.” The 27-year-old also claimed that in the beginning, he didn’t mind appearing on her social media channels, but that it eventually caused problems.

“I like to keep the mystique, but I knew that’s kind of how she made her money. It’s not for me, bro,” he said. “I mean, when it was good, it was good. When it was bad, it was really bad.” The “Rack City” singer added that the first year of any relationship “is like magic,” but then “you start realizing a bunch of sh-t.”

So what did Tyga gain from their very public romance? “Women,” he said. “More women at my shows.” Ultimately, the father-of-one feels his association with the makeup mogul hurt his career. “I was with a black girl before that, so to the world it looked like I had a baby with her, left her, then went out with this young, white girl. That was already a hit on my image,” he explained.

As Life & Style previously reported, Tyga also stated that he warned Rob Kardashian about his ex Blac Chyna when the duo started dating in January 2016. The former couple’s dirty laundry is now out in the open after Kris Jenner’s only son posted explicit photos of his baby mama on Instagram.

“I told him what he was going to deal with. I was just with her for three, four years, like, this is what you’re about to deal with but… Chyna, she just got a different mentality,” Tyga shared. Is it terrible for us to hope that both Kylie and Chyna respond to this interview?
