He’s had his fun and now he’s over it! Tyga took to Twitter on March 27 to put the rumors to bed: he’s not the father of Kylie Jenner‘s baby girl Stormi Webster, despite the fact that he’s been seemingly egging on fan theories that he knocked up his longtime girlfriend, rather than Travis Scott.

“I’ve never said anything about someone else’s child or family insinuating my involvement; and will never do so,” he wrote on Twitter. “Please, Stop spreading false stories and attacking people’s families. I have nothing to do with any of that. People should be able to live in peace.”

Despite now suddenly wanting to be mature about everything, he seemed to only spur rumors a few days earlier when he posted a baby photo of himself that fans immediately compared to Stormi. Momager Kris Jenner actually addressed the rumors last month, saying “Oh no, no no. I think that was just a bunch of silly rumors as usual,” on the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O. Tyga kept mum until things got out of hand.

Many fans are applauding his message. “A gentleman ??,” said one girl. However, others thought he was lying, “Damn bro how much did Kardashian pay you to say that like seriously bro you need a DNA test don’t lie to yourself to protect them.” Okay, that’s insane, but the Kardashians, or at least Kanye West, may have had something to do with the public statement.

See, Travis and Tyga are both on Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label, and if the fan speculation was bothering Kylie or Travis, it would be in Yeezy’s best interest to make Tyga apologize. Since Tyga’s feeling chatty, maybe he’ll tell us someday!
