David was just 7 years old when his father uploaded a video of him high on painkillers after leaving a dental appointment, launching the catchphrase, "Is this real life?" Since 2009, David's family has made more than $150,000 from the video and from merchandise they sell on their website. Today, David is in the 10th grade and can now drive himself to the dentist.

Tay Zonday (The "Chocolate Rain" Guy)

After his video "Chocolate Rain" went viral in 2007, Tay has led a lucrative career making appearances on TV shows, doing voiceover work and, yes, singing. His YouTube channel also has over a million subscribers. His most recent video? A cover of Twenty One Pilot's "Heathens."

Kimberly "Sweet Brown" Wilkins (the "Ain't nobody got time for that" lady)

In 2014, when Kimberly's apartment complex caught fire, her interview by a local news station ignited the catchphrase, "Ain't nobody got time for that!" Since then, Kimberly has appeared in TV shows, a Tyler Perry movie, and she even has her own line of T-shirts and barbecue sauces.

However, mysteriously, all her social media accounts stopped updating in 2014. According to rumors, she still lives in the same apartment complex that made her famous.

Charlie and Harry (the "Charlie Bit Me" kids)

With almost a billion views, the "Charlie Bit Me" video might be the most popular viral video of all time. In 2015, the BBC visited brothers Charlie and Harry, who are both 12 and 10 now, respectively, and learned that the family has earned more than $500,000 from the video.

Antoine Dodson (the "Hide Your Kids" guy)

In 2010, Antoine's interview with a local news station about a break-in at his home went viral thanks to his iconic quip, "Hide your wife, hide your kids." The success of the video made Antoine enough money to move his family out of the projects. Today, he's 30 years old and lives in Chicago with his wife and kids. In 2013, he announced that he had converted to Islam and was no longer gay.

Since Amber's 2007 video "Crush on Obama" went viral, the 34-year-old has been busy with acting and modeling gigs. As for who she voted for in the 2008 election? She didn't vote.

After her song "Friday" became a semi-catchy/publicly-mocked viral sensation in 2011, Rebecca left school to escape bullying, both in real life and online. Now 18, Rebecca runs a successful YouTube channel and just released a new single, "The Great Divide."

Gary's 2004 video of himself lip-syncing to "Dragostea din tei" by Moldovan pop group O-Zone was one of the first viral videos. Today, the self-described "shy" web designer who lives in New Jersey is busy playing music with his band, posting videos on his YouTube channel and creating "Numa Numa" follow-ups.

Jessica Lee Rose ("lonelygirl15")

Back in 2006, Jessica was the face of "lonelygirl15," a fictional teenager in a series of web videos. After the videos were revealed to be a hoax, the series continued to live on as a viral success. As for Jessica, she's now a working actress who has appeared in shows like Greek and Casting Couch. Earlier this year, she appeared in a new episode of "lonelygirl15," the first since 2008.

Noah Ritter (the "Apparently" kid)

In 2014, the then 6-year-old gave a rememberable interview with a local news station. After that, he frequently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, making his last appearance on her show in 2015.
