Pour yourself a Pumptini and take a seat — because we’ve got a lot to discuss. Season 6 of Vanderpump Rules is right round the corner and, obvi, we’re stoked AF for our favorite SURvers to get into their typical shenanigans — lying, cheating, drinking, crying, fighting, screaming, etc. — again. While we can’t wait to see Stassi Schroeder and Co. back on Bravo come Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. EST, we must admit that we’re most thrilled over the fact that the show’s resident s--t-stirrer, Lala Kent, is making her grand return.
As fans are well aware, the 27-year-old spitfire sorta-kinda half-quit last season after pretty much the whole cast ganged up on her, chastising her for allegedly dating a married man. During a December 2016 interview with Us Weekly, Lala said that the incessant ridicule from her co-stars became too much — forcing her to walk away from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spinoff.
“I have a boyfriend who I’m madly in love with and this married man rumor that who knows where the f--k they pulled this out, whose a-- it came out of, it’s just not worth it to me in any way, shape, or form,” the Salt Lake City native said at the time. “I feel like my personal life is meant to be personal and I don’t have to share everything, even though they want to call it a reality TV show, this s--t is not real.”

Well, Lala (who is arguably the best part of Pump Rules) eventually came back to the show and even participated in Season 5’s explosive reunion…where she was, again, criticized for her perplexing romance. Fast forward to present day and Lala has miraculously made amends with Lisa Vanderpump’s pack of sexy, unique restaurant employees. And, good for Lala, she didn’t even have to dump her secret beau to re-enter the fold.
By now, you’re probably wondering who TF it is that Lala is seeing. Word on the street (or, Twitter, rather) is that she is allegedly dating Randall Emmett, a filmmaker who shares two children with his wife, 29-year-old actress Ambyr Childers. While Lala has yet to confirm that her lover is indeed Randall, 46 — who currently serves as a producer on STARZ’s Power — she has hinted at their eyebrow-raising relationship in recent Instagram posts.

Just last month, the “Boy” songstress (yes, Lala is not only a SUR hostess, but also an aspiring pop star and a great one at that, TYVM) shared a pic of a humungous floral arrangement, accompanied by a note that said things like, “You are on top of the world,” and even “I love you.” Lala thanked “R.E.” (like, um, hello…Randall Emmett!) for the gift.
Though she previously planned to keep her secret relationship a secret, Lala did suggest this past May that she would like to eventually go public with her mystery man. “[His identity] is going to be out there,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Obviously, he’s the person I plan to spend my whole life with, but I’m always going to baby it and keep it pretty much private…I look at him and I’m like, ‘How am I this lucky to have someone who not only deals with me, but loves me when I’m crazy?’ which is the majority of the time, you know?”
Fingers crossed Randall makes his reality TV debut when Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo for its sixth season on Monday, Dec. 4, at 9 p.m. EST.
