Vanessa Grimaldi Feared She “Made a Huge Mistake” After Accepting Nick Viall’s Proposal on ‘The Bachelor’
Trouble in paradise … already?
Vanessa Grimaldi may have accepted a proposal from Nick Viall in the finale of The Bachelor — but she quickly started having second thoughts about that decision once she saw how her husband-to-be acted on TV!
According to In Touch, the the brunette beauty had an extremely difficult time watching the hunky 36-year-old with some of the other contestants.
“Not only was she hurt by what she [saw], but she was so embarrassed by his behavior,” the insider said, adding that the Nick she got to know in private was very different from the Nick she saw on television.

“Nick is already very sweet and loving toward her in private, but [she saw] how much of a playboy he is, thanks to the show,” the insider explained.

Vanessa wasn’t shy about voicing her concerns during filming, either. Earlier in the season, she questioned if Nick was looking for a wife or just someone to “f–k around with” after she caught another bikini-clad contestant — this season’s villain Corinne Olympios — straddling him in a bouncy castle.

Now she’s wondering if she should’ve listened to her family — who weren’t on board with Vanessa getting engaged to the four-time Bachelor veteran.
On After the Final Rose, Vanessa hinted at trouble in her relationship with Nick, saying that “some days are tougher than others.”
“There were moments where I had to understand Nick The Bachelor and Nick the guy I was dating. So it was hard sometimes to separate the two,” she said. “I love him. We love each other, but there have been days that have been difficult.”
As for a wedding date, the couple confirmed there are no plans.
