Over the past year Jennifer Aniston has been eagerly organizing her dream wedding to fiancé Justin Theroux, but lately that planning has stalled – and insiders fear that it's more than just a scheduling problem for the busy stars.
In the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now, a friend reveals that Justin is "dragging his feet about the wedding" and has moved 3,000 miles away from Jen. He's back in his adopted hometown of NYC, while she remains in their newly renovated mansion in LA.
"He's totally in his element," in New York, an insider says. And his desire to spend more time on the East Coast – where he's currently filming an HBO pilot, The Leftovers – is a major source of tension between the couple.
"If it was up to Justin he'd live in NYC full-time," his pal admits, but Jen – who tried living in her old hometown with Justin last year – hates it there. "I felt like I was [living] in a fishbowl," she complained.
So for now, Justin's friend admits, "Planning of the wedding has been put on hold."
That's a nightmare for Jen, who after a painful divorce from Brad Pitt and a string of bad romances, thought Justin was "the one."
