Paige Made a Comeback to the WWE — Which Means She Could Also Return to ‘Total Divas’
This is her house! There was a bit of a cast shakeup for Season 7 of Total Divas, and fan-favorite Paige was replaced. Just like her pal Nikki Bella, Paige also suffered an injury and was not fit to compete anymore in the WWE.
But thankfully, she is fully recovered and she just enjoyed the comeback of a lifetime last month when she made her big return to the WWE on Raw after being gone for nearly a year! The female pro wrestler is back in action on the WWE, but her storyline left off on a dramatic note on the previous season of the hit E! reality TV series. So fans are wondering, what happened to Paige on Total Divas?
Last season, cameras documented Paige's health issues. She had been suffering from an untreated neck injury for quite some time, and she was trying to keep it a secret from the WWE because she didn't want to take a break from in-ring competition, but eventually, the bosses found out. Paige thought that her pal Eva Marie was the one who spilled her secret, and it resulted in an explosive argument between them — and Paige even called Eva Marie a "piece of s–t."
But their co-star Natalya Neidhart was the one who tattled, and she only did it because she was genuinely concerned about Paige. Turns out, Paige was suffering from a hernia in her neck and she underwent surgery last October to correct it.
"Also surgery went well. The hernia was bigger than expected and my neck was straightened now this girl has [three] screws in her neck," Paige tweeted at the time.
Since then, she's been working hard at recovering and spending time her downtime with her husband, pro wrestler Alberto Del Rio — but the couple may have split since she hinted at being "single" on Snapchat last month.
Now that she has her career back, it doesn't look like Paige is focused on her love life at the moment. But now that she's back at the WWE, it's safe to say that she'll eventually make a comeback to Total Divas too, and hopefully fans will get to see her journey on the road back to her house.
