With The X Factor’s second season coming to an end next week, there’s bound to be talk about who will be returning to judge next season. And someone is already out — LA Reid. In an announcement just before the Dec. 13 episode, the judge said, “I have decided that I will not return to The X Factor next year. I have to go back and I have a company to run.” The chairman and CEO of Epic Records continued, “I’m not ruling ever coming back, but I’m definitely not coming back next year.” It’s not the first time the hit show’s seen shakeups. Cheryl Cole was let go after only two episodes during its first season, and earlier this year Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were replaced by Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
