There are still a few weeks until the next American Idol is crowned — but luckily for viewers the debut album of celebrity mentor Bishop Briggs is just around the corner. The brunette beauty wowed fans in her duets with contestants Cade Foehner and Trevor McBane and many are asking who exactly is the tiny singer with the big voice.

Bishop (real name: Sarah Grace McLaughlin) was born in London, raised in Hong Kong, and is currently residing in LA. Her upcoming album Church of Scars is set to be released on April 20 and if you think you've heard her music before, chances are you have. She is best known for her single, "River," which landed on the top of Billboard's Alternative Songs chart.

Despite her growing success, she was surprised to be contacted to appear on the popular reality singing competition. "When I got the call for American Idol, I thought they had the wrong number," the 25-year-old artist said on the show. However, it was not a mistake and her duets were some of the best of the night. "My GOD did anybody hear Bishop Briggs and @Cadefoehner on @American Idol tonight?!?! Wow, WOW, WOOOOWWW," one fan tweeted. Another added, "Never hear of Bishop Briggs before, but she can sang! Gonna check out her music now. Thanks @AmericanIdol for introducing me to her."

So, what else do you need to know about Bishop? She writes most of her own songs, can play the piano, and according to her Instagram she is in a relationship. She is currently dating the lead vocalist of indie rock band Sir Sly Landon Jacobs. "Looking goofy next to pretty flowers a a pretty artist," her BF recently captioned a photo of the couple.

American Idol airs Sunday and Monday nights at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
