If the name Brittany Furlan means something to you, you're not alone. The California-based beauty hit it big in the mid-2010s when viral fame was reaching its peak, winning over fans on Vine with her bite-sized comedy. But a lot has changed since then.

After leaving Vine in 2016 — one year before the app officially shut down — Brittany never slowed down. In fact, the 31-year-old has only gotten bigger by showing up on the big screen, causing controversy in the tabloids, and dating rock stars and directors.

Because the Internet star is everywhere these days, it’s probably time to learn more about her. Here’s everything you need to know about this unfiltered gal in 2017.

Where is Brittany Furlan from?

Though Brittany became famous while living in her current hometown of LA, the brunette originally hails from the East Coast. She was born in Pennsylvania in the small town of Perkasie — about a half hour outside of Philadelphia.

How did Brittany get famous?

As we mentioned above, Brittany made a name for herself by gaining nearly 10 million followers on Vine before quitting in 2016. When TMZ asked her at the time how she got so popular, she quipped that it was by “having tits and being funny.” During that time, she also appeared in Pitbull’s “Fireball” video, as well as the 2015 Zac Efron movie, We Are Your Friends.

Has she won any awards?

In 2015, Brittany was named one of TIME’s 30 Most Influential People on the Internet. That same year, she was also nominated for Choice Viner at the Teen Choice Awards.

Who is Brittany dating?

Until late 2016, Brittany was engaged to fellow Vine star and regular collaborator Randal Kirk II. After the two split, she dated director Jordan Vogt-Roberts before their love went sour. Since June 2017, she’s been seeing 55-year-old Mötley Crüe rocker Tommy Lee. The two caused a stir in August when they were spotted leaving an airplane bathroom together, spurring rumors they’d joined the Mile High Club.

What's Brittany's life like today in 2017?

In addition to focusing on her headline-making relationship, Brittany is flexing her acting muscles in a number of short films and comedy flicks coming out next year. Some of those projects include The Unicorn with Lucy Hale and Airplane Mode with Nick Swardson.

The Internet celeb's long-haired Dachshund, Meggypoos, became a celebrity in her own right when she modeled for American Eagle Outfitters' 2014 dog collection. Sadly, in September 2014, Meggy disappeared while the two were playing in park. Brittany later revealed the eight-year-old pup dead from unknown causes. "She was an incredible dog. I will miss her everyday of my life," she wrote at the time.
