When Arie Luyendyk Jr. was announced as the next Bachelor last month, fans were shocked by the seemingly random pick. After all, the last time viewers saw the race car driver was on The Bachelorette five years ago. However, if we’re being honest, Emily Maynard’s Season 8 was one of the franchise’s best.

When Arie’s Season 22 premieres in January, producers are sure to remind us of his time dating the Southern beauty back when she was a young single mom. The two are still on such good terms, Emily may even show up on his “journey” to offer advice. The 31-year-old is definitely a good resource for her runner-up, considering she’s now happily married and just welcomed baby No. 4.

And due to her ever-growing family and an ex about to return to TV, it’s probably time for a refresher on the Bachelorette star. Read on for an update on Emily and her family in 2017.

Who is she married to now?

Before she joined the Bachelor franchise is 2011, Emily met now-husband Tyler Johnson at their shared North Carolina church. They reconnected after her split from Jef Holm in 2012, and tied the knot in June 2014.

How many kids does she have?

Emily is officially a mother-of-four. She welcomed her newest baby on Nov. 12, joining her other children, daughter Ricki and sons Jennings, 2, and Gibson, 1.

Where does she live?

Though the Bachelorette hails from West Virginia, the Maynard-Johnson family lives in Charlotte, NC. Their stunning $2.2 million, 6,900-square-foot home boasts six bedrooms and six bathrooms, and it’s truly a sight to behold!

What does she do for a living?

When Emily joined Brad Womack’s Bachelor season, her career was listed as a “Children’s Hospital Event Planner.” In addition, her late fiancé’s father (and grandfather to her daughter) Rick Hendrick is worth an estimated $1 billion from his work as a businessman and owner of a self-named NASCAR team. After the show, she made her own money through fashion collaborations and her memoir, I Said Yes: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption, and True Love.

What went wrong between Emily and Brad Womack?

After getting engaged on The Bachelor Season 15 finale in 2011, the couple admitted to having issues shortly after stepping out in public for the first time. “We’ve thrown in the towel, broken up. But at end of every day I’d call and say, ‘I know you might not like me today, but I love you,’” Brad shared. Emily later confirmed they had officially ended things eight months after their on-air proposal.
