Oh, boy. It appears as though an angry ex crashes The Bachelor finale in a new preview for Season 22 of ABC’s long-running reality series. In the sneak peek, an angry ex-boyfriend tells producers, “No, I don’t want to be on this show. I want my girl. I’m here to get her back. I’m here to tell her that I wanna marry her.”
Now, we don’t know who the guy is yet — but, naturally, Arie Luyendyk Jr. is not happy that the dude could potentially ruin his proposal. "It's just kind of blowing my mind that he's here. It's f--king upsetting,” the handsome race care driver, 36, says in the clip. “I mean, right now I’m angry. I’m angry that he’s here. And I’ve had my heart ripped open and I don’t know how this is gonna end.”
Arie opened up about the incident during a recent interview with Access Hollywood. “I don’t know if that’s ever happened, either. I’m not the fighting type. I’m a lover. You’re just gonna have to watch. It is super intense,” he said. “That’s what made those last few weeks just insane when I think back on it.”
Of course, we can’t wait to find out who makes an attempt to ruin the moment. If the anticipation is also killing you and you're looking for spoilers (or if you’re curious about who Arie picks), we’ve got you covered. But, while we’re on the topic of angry exes trying to steal their significant others back from Arie, Life & Style recently chatted with contestant Maquel Cooper’s ex-husband, Josh Munday — who is unhappy with the fact that she's competing on this season of the show and is dead set on winning her back.
“One of my mistakes was letting her go,” Josh said in an exclusive interview. “If the option ever became available [to get back together], I would not be opposed to that.” Mormons Josh and Maquel were high school sweethearts who wed in May 2016, but he filed for divorce five months later and it was finalized in February 2017.

“There was no infidelity, [and] she was never rude or malicious or anything of the sort. It was just two young people that were the best of friends that got married a bit too early,” Josh, 25, told Life & Style of 23-year-old Maquel, whose faith might get in the way of the typical behavior that goes down on The Bachelor. “Maquel is a very religious person. I know she’s not going to be on the show drinking. She’s not the type to jump into the fantasy suite.”
