With only two weeks left to go in The X Factor competition, everyone's wondering: will judge Britney Spears hit the stage and perform one of her hits?
We spoke with the "...Baby One More Time" singer herself last night after the show's elimination episode and asked her that very question.
"I don't know. Maybe...maybe," she tells Life & Style. "We'll see."
Not quite a yes, but far from a no. There's still hope!
Plus, co-judge Simon Cowell has already voice his opinion about a Brit number, "I’m going to push as much as possible for her to do something on the final. I think she’ll probably do it."

When we asked about Brit about her plans for returning next year, she gave pretty much the same answer. She really knows how to keep us guessing!
"It's kind of sad [this season is coming to an end]," the mom of two tells Life & Style. "The year has gone by so fast. It's crazy."
But what a year it's been for the queen of pop. Her hopeful Carly Rose Sonenclar is still in the running to win the $5 million recording contract.

"The way she is kind of shy and gets on stage and it's this insane voice. When I was younger, she reminds me a lot of me," she says of the 13-year-old aspiring singer.
Next week, Carly will face off against L.A. Reid's Over 25 contestant Tate Stevens and Simon's groups Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony
"Her personality, [Carly]'s so cool," she continues, "Like Simon said the other night, she just has this demeanor about her that she just really gets it. She understands the business and that's what you also need on top of being talented."
