Fans can't get enough of Stranger Things! The second season just hit Netflix and viewers are already wondering if there will be a Season 3 of the show. Well, they're in luck because the creators have confirmed that the sci-fi drama will come back for another season.

"Now I’m really happy that it isn’t [an anthology], because we found these kids that clicked," co-creator Matt Duffer told Wired. "It would become a problem if we just continued to treat it like a TV show and just kept going for like seven seasons or something, but if we get out after four seasons or something, then I don’t think it’s going to feel that way."

The show has received critical acclaim for both of its seasons. The first season was nominated for 18 Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series. And it won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Forbes praised the sophomore season writing, "Stranger Things Season 2 is phenomenal. Better than the first, finally evolving into its own thing rather than being purely a product of ‘80s nostalgia. The show manages to balance its growing cast with a number of genuinely interesting, interweaving plotlines, and the result is a final product that is pretty damn close to perfect."

So, now the only question is when should we mark our calendars for the big premiere? That information, unfortunately, is still under wraps. Since the second season just started streaming, it'll probably take some time before major details about the third season are released. Fans are already awaiting the release after washing the newest episodes. "#StrangerThings I finished season 2 now I have to wait another year for season 3 what am I supposed to do now," one fan tweeted. Another added, "Okay. I've finished #StrangerThings. Now how do I make the time go by faster until Season 3??" That's what we're wondering!

Stranger Things is currently streaming on Netflix.
