Ladies (and gents!) you might want to think before you wear skinny jeans again!
According to the Associated Press, a woman in Australia recently spent four days in the hospital with muscle damage after squatting for hours ... in skinny jeans!

The 35-year-old was helping a friend move when she began to notice a numbness in her legs and feet while crouching to clean out cabinets. On her walk home, she fell and was stranded for hours before she managed to receive medical treatment.
A press release explained that the patient's calves were so swollen that she had to be cut out of the denim. She was diagnosed with nerve blockage, said to be caused by reduced blood flow to the leg muscles.
Doctors have since warned against wearing similarly tight material for those types of jobs. "I think it's the non-stretchy nature of jeans that might be the problem," Dr. Thomas Kimber of the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where the woman was treated, explained.
"With a stretchier fabric, her nerves and muscles might not have been squeezed as hard," he added.
