After losing 110 pounds thanks to a "selfie diet", we think this 35-year-old mother might really be onto something!
Eva Rut Gunnlaugsdottir started posting numerous selfies to Facebook, as most of us do, until she realized, as most of us do, that she didn’t exactly like how she looked.
When she started, she weighed 268 pounds and decided to use them as an incentive to lose weight, looking at them if she ever wanted fatty food.
“I posted the first one almost as a joke,” the Iceland native told Central European News. “I felt really bad about myself and looked bad and I felt if I could start to see the change it might help me to carry on.”

"The first two or three days of the diet were a bit difficult, but since then I've been so stable, floating around on a pink cloud,” she said.
Ok, so obviously the girl had to be doing some sort of work to be dropping such drastic weight. Eva cut carbs and sugars – she also looked at a selfie each time she craved chocolate.
"I still find it painful to look at the first few selfies from last year. But I always feel better looking at the end of the year." (via NY Post)
