In February, firefighters picked up a woman in Southern California who didn't remember her name or age. But now, four months later, she's finally found her family — and her identity!
Less than 48 hours after a San Diego NBC news station posted her story on Monday, the woman's nephew recognized her.

Suffering from ovarian cancer and what doctors believe to be amnesia caused from her tumor, the 54-year-old, who went by Sam in the hospital, is actually Ashley Manetta, described as a free-spirit born in Pennsylvania.
Of her family reunion, Manetta told NBC 7, "It was extremely emotional. We were all sobbing. They're so sorry I had to go through what I did during this time without them."
After connecting with her relatives, the pieces of her disappearance began to fall back into place. Manetta was allegedly headed to Tucson, Ariz., but never checked in with her family to say she had arrived. But because the single Manetta often traveled alone, they didn't find it strange.
Now, she's planning to live with her sister in Maryland and continue her cancer treatment. Hear more about her unbelievable journey in the video below!
