"The Dress" became an international phenomenon last week as people debated over the colors (FYI, it's black and blue).
And now, everyone's talking about the optical illusion dress — but this time it's serious.
In a new PSA, The Salvation Army in South Africa has used the article of clothing to send a powerful message about domestic violence.
In an ad titled, “Why is it So Hard to See Black and Blue,” a bruised-up model is seen wearing the dress in white and gold.
The caption reads, “The only illusion is if you think it was her choice. One in 6 women are victims of abuse. Stop abuse against women.”
