Video taken at the scene of a fire near Atlanta shows the daring rescue of two young girls who were forced to jump from a third-floor window seconds before their residential building was engulfed in flames.
In the footage, which was shot by 11 Alive news station, the girls, believed to be aged 17 and 6, can be seen leaping from a broken window into the arms of a few good Samaritans below.

The pair initially drew attention by banging frantically on the window before successfully breaking it. One girl is said to have cut up her leg pretty badly after catching it on shards of glass.
Only seconds after the duo were rescued, huge plumes of smoke were spotted billowing out of the building as bright flames ravaged the structure.
According to WXIA, 29 people's homes were destroyed in the fire. It remains unclear what started the blaze, but an investigation is ongoing.
