Zac Posen is in and Michael Kors is out!

The famed fashion designer will replace Michael as a full-time judge on the 11th season of Project Runway, airing Jan. 24 on Lifetime.

"So excited to be the new judge on @ProjectRunway Season 11!! Joining @heidiklum @ninagarcia and @TimGunn,” Zac tweeted today, Dec. 18.

To which host Heidi Klum retweeted, saying, “Welcome Zac!”

But why is Michael saying auf wiedersehen to the show he’s been part of for 10 seasons? Scheduling constraints, unfortunately — and the departure was amicable.

“Love you and the @ProjectRunway family,” Michael tweeted at Heidi after the news hit.

And it won’t be the last time you see the 53-year-old giving his honest critiques. The Lifetime TV statement confirms he’ll return as judge for the season finale.

"This was an amazing opportunity," Posen, 32, said in a statement. “I hope I'm here to give a new perspective to the designers.”

Returning to the panel will be Marie Claire fashion director Nina Garcia and Tim Gunn.
