Former One Direction bad boy, Zayn Malik, has fans worried about his health after he shared three shirtless photos of his incredibly thin frame on Instagram. In the pics, the 25-year-old — who has admittedly struggled with an eating disorder in the past — is seen sleeping, smoking a cigarette, and playing with his phone.

"You're hurting yourself… You smoke a lot and it seems like you don't eat enough… Please think about it… ??," one concerned fan wrote. Another said, "I can't stop worrying about you ??PLEASE be fine and eat well sleep well and just be healthy cuz I got that damn feeling that you're not ?please be okay zaddy."

The singer opened up for the first time about his eating disorder in his autobiography titled, Zayn, and revealed that while he was touring with One Direction, he would sometimes go for days without eating any food. "It got quite serious, although at the time I didn't recognize it for what it was," he said in the book.

"When I look back at images of myself…I can see how ill I was," he said, referencing his final tour with the band in 2014. "The workload and the pace of life on the road put together with the pressures and strains of everything going on within the band had badly affected my eating habits. Food was something I could control, so I did."

Thankfully, Zayn was able to get his health in order after leaving the band in March 2015. He told The Sun, "I came back to the UK and spent some time with my mum and got some TLC, and she cooked me food and I got back in touch, mentally, with a lot of the things I'd lost."
