When it was announced last week that Zooey Deschanel is pregnant with her first child, fans of the actress’ show New Girl immediately began wondering whether the pregnancy would be written into the plot.
But according to Zooey’s co-star Jake Johnson, who plays Nick on the hit series, the 35-year-old’s character won’t be welcoming a baby anytime soon!

“Jess is not going to have a baby,” Jake recently revealed. “It’d be a weird ‘Three Men And A Baby’ vibe.”
But the actor couldn’t be more thrilled for Zooey and her boyfriend, Jacob Pechenik. “She’s a good friend and this is an awesome thing in her life,” Jake told E!. “I think she’s going to be a great mom.”
