See Which ’90 Day Fiancé’ Couples Are Having Babies or Expecting
TLC’s hit docu-series 90 Day Fiancé might be 90 percent green card drama and infidelity, but there have been a surprising amount of genuine relationships on the show, too. In fact, most of them are still together! And now that the show is on its fifth season, we’re curious to know which successful couples have popped out a kid or two.
For fans of the show who’ve followed the couples for years, it’s exciting to hear baby news from them, especially when it’s an announcement from a fan-favorite pair, like Melanie Bowers and Devar Walters or Amy and Danny Frishmuth. However, because this is 90 Day Fiancé, there has been some controversy, too.
Season three couple Aleksandra Iarovikova and Josh Strobel were one of the first from the series to have a baby together, and fans were ecstatic. The young couple, who met while Josh was on a missionary trip in Russia, had to jump over many religious and cultural barriers during their engagement. In the end, after tying the knot on the show, they shocked everyone when they announced they were expecting their first child together at the reunion.
In March 2016, Aleksandra gave birth to a daughter, Kaya. The couple’s active Instagram is full of photos of the young girl, but there’s one problem — they won’t reveal their daughter’s face. Many fans have jumped to outrageous theories for why the new parents are keeping the child’s appearance a secret, with some speculating that Josh might not be the father.
However, in April 2017, Aleksandra shot those rumors down. “Of course Josh is the father,” Aleksandra said. “I’d do a DNA test just for fans, but I don’t want to prove something to somebody who I don’t know. That’s sad that people don’t think and make up such silly things.”
Fans have pointed out that the toddler has a “dark complexion” and curly hair, hinting at possibly being biracial. “Kids may look like their grandparents and nothing like their own parents,” Aleksandra explained. “Especially in our family. I don’t look like my mom or dad, I look more like my grandma. My daughter looks like my mom. Seriously, they have the same face.
