We’re learned a lot about Abby Lee Miller‘s cancer journey through her constant Instagram updates, but on Aug. 24 she revealed that fans will soon be able to dive deeper into her tragic yet hopeful story with an upcoming television special.

“Toooooooooooo sweet! Sugar wafer cookies are pinkalicious!” Abby wrote in the caption beside a photo of herself smiling while holding a wafer cookie, dressed in a pink sparkly hat and pink Abby Lee Dance Company t-shirt. “I’m shooting a special, today is my interview in the rehab gym!”

Abby went on to say, “I know it will be emotional talking about this horrid journey I’ve been on! I hope it turns out Pinktastic! #abbylee #abbyleemiller #spinesurgery #dance #aldc #aldcla #aldcalways.” With her unwavering strength and positive attitude, we have total faith in the reality star.

Fans agree and sent their love in the comments section. One wrote, “I have so much respect for you since following you on here. Everything you’ve been through! Serving time, getting sick, your treatment and wellness journey. You are so much more than Dance Moms. You’re a strong woman who’s fighting every day. Mad love.” Another felt similarly, saying, “Abby, you have been through so much and it chews at you emotionally and physically but you are strong and will get through it!!! Can’t wait to see you back on tv with your show!!!”

Abby was first diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma in April 2018, after being admitted to the hospital for sudden paralysis. She was just finishing up her prison sentence in a halfway house in Van Nuys, and unfortunately she still hasn’t been well enough to go home. Prior to that, she spent nearly a year in prison for bankruptcy fraud. So far it is unclear when, or what network, her special will premiere on.
