Get ready — Abby Lee Miller is reportedly returning to Dance Moms! The 51-year-old reality star is expected to make a comeback on the Lifetime show's eighth season — and it looks like she's already involved in the casting process.
A source revealed the exciting news to Entertainment Tonight, and according to dancemomscasting.com, she's looking for children to appear on the show. "The most infamous dance instructor in the world is going back to her roots and only interested in parents who are ready to take their kids to the next level," the casting post read. "Abby Lee Miller is currently holding auditions for her new ALDC elite competition team. Dancers must be MINIS 7-9 or JUNIORS 10-12. All must be serious about competing and winning on a national level."
The report may come as a surprise to some, however, considering Abby announced in March of last year that she was leaving the show. Not to mention, she's been battling cancer. Back in April, Abby was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma — which is a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma — and she's currently bound to a wheelchair.
Luckily, it appears she's still in good spirits. "It's lit in LA! I have everything I need! Well almost, hey there [Tiffany Haddish], where's your pool boy?" the dance instructor wrote in a caption of a photo on Instagram, which looks like it was taken in a hospital courtyard. She also made a reference to actress Tiffany Haddish's recent Groupon commercial, where she's laying by a pool and talking to a handsome pool boy.
Despite her health concerns, she recently shared a cryptic message, that had fans thinking she may be headed for a return. "Happy Birthday to you two!!! [Lilly] and [Elliana] do those coats still fit? There is a rumor about Season 8 — We might be headed someplace cold! Anybody have thoughts on this?" Abby wrote in a birthday shout out to her ALDC students Elliana Walmsley and Lilliana Ketchman. Hmm... Can't wait!
