Is Abby Lee Miller still paralyzed? Dance Moms fans were heartbroken to see that Abby was still in a wheelchair after being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, and even though Abby is on the road to recovery, it has not been an easy one. Abby is currently battling Burkitt lymphoma, which is a form of non-Hodgkins lymphoma and as a result, she was paralyzed from the neck down. But now, thanks to physical therapy, Abby is working on gaining mobility in her legs and she shared an update on her progress with fans on Instagram.

"Look at me, way up high," Abby wrote in the caption of a photo of her smiling wide as she was harnessed above what seemed to be a physical therapy treadmill. "I never thought I’d be cast in the role of Peter Pan, but I’m harnessed up and ready to fly!!"

Fans flooded the comments with well wishes for the beloved reality TV star. "So proud of you Abby. You are an inspiration to so many. I know one day soon you will be walking and then dancing," one fan wrote, while another commented, "Hope everything is going ok with [you] Abby. Stay strong and its good to see [you] walking again."

The 51-year-old's first sign of her illness was back in April when she was experiencing neck pain and weakness in her arm, which then quickly progressed to paralysis and she underwent emergency spinal surgery for what doctors originally believed was a rare spinal infection. But it turned out that Abby had Burkitt lymphoma, and she remained in the hospital for the past three months undergoing treatments.

Last month, sources revealed to Radar Online that Abby couldn't move her legs, but it seems like she has made a lot of progress since then. In a video clip posted on the Fourth of July, Abby was able to move her legs enough to click her heels together — so there might be hope for Abby after all.
