This is the true story of one Reddit user, True Amurrican, who posted it after the beloved actor and comedian passed away on Monday, Aug. 11.
He explains he and his family had just returned from attending a church service for his grandmother in San Francisco. This service was especially depressing for the family as the Reddit user reveals his grandfather killed his grandmother, and then killed himself.
When the family walked into the doughnut shop around 2:30 a.m., Robin had one goal and one goal only: To make them smile and laugh.
And that he did.
