Beginning in 1982, Alec’s most notable television roles include The Doctors, Cutter to Houston, Knots Landing, 30 Rock, The Looming Tower, Will & Grace, Saturday Night Live and Dr. Death.

According to multiple outlets, Alec took home $300,000 per episode of 30 Rock. As for Saturday Night Live, Alec was paid $1,400 every time he appeared as Donald Trump on the hit sketch comedy series, according to a 2016 interview he did with The New York Times.

Alec Baldwin Runs a Charity:

The actor and his mother, Carol Baldwin created the Carol M. Baldwin Cancer Research Fund, in which he has invested millions. 

According to a Vulture piece Alec penned in February 2014, he arranged for his salary received from his long-standing endorsement deal with Capital One Bank to fund his charity. 

“When 30 Rock went into syndication, I sensed that I was going to be on TV for a bit, so I crafted my arrangement with Capital One Bank to fund my foundation for charitable giving,” he wrote at the time. “They paid me $15 million over nearly five years. After taxes and accounting fees, I will have given all of it, $14.125 million, to charity.”

Alec Baldwin Was Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter:

On January 19, 2023, the Will & Grace alum was charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection to the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, according to NBC News.

The tragedy occurred on the New Mexico set of the film Rust, in October 2021. The actor was rehearsing with a pistol ahead of filming a scene when the gun went off and killed Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

“There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred,” Baldwin wrote in a statement via Twitter at the time. “I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”
