Jennifer Lopez’s Engagement To Boyfriend Alex Rodriguez Is Reportedly ‘On The Horizon’

He has a few championship rings of his own, so Alex Rodriguez isn’t in the market for a new diamond for himself! The retired professional baseball player is allegedly getting ready to pop the question and propose to his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, according to a new report. “An engagement is definitely on the horizon,” a source recently revealed to Us Weekly. “Alex is obsessed with Jen and spends as much time as he can with her.”

The former Yankees superstar, 43, has had a ton of practice getting down on one knee over the years fielding balls from third base, so we’d expect nothing less than an all-star approach when it comes time for A-Rod to ask for Jennifer’s hand in marriage.

The couple began dating around March 2017, and according to the source, everyone is thrilled that Alex is reportedly thinking about popping the question. “I think it’s inevitable [that they are going to get married] but I’m not going to predict when,” Peter Segal, who directed the actress in Second Act, admitted to Us earlier this month. “The question is when not if.”

Jen and Alex’s impending engagement is the talk of the town and the 49-year-old singer recently admitted she understands why. “Everyone wants a fairy tale. They all want a romantic comedy, a happy ending. We all do,” she told USA Today. “But it’s not a movie, even if you see us on Instagram or on the shows.”

“We love each other and we love our life together,” Jennifer also told People. “The exciting part of our love is that we’re both very aware of how lucky we are to have found each other.”

When Alex and Jen do one day tie the knot, it will be the “Jenny From The Block” singer’s fourth marriage and the former athlete’s second. The World of Dance star was previously married to waiter Ojani Noa, dancer Cris Judd, and singer Marc Anthony, while Alex was hitched to Cynthia Curtis.
