Throw a ‘Bachelorette’ Finale Party So Epic Your Friends Give You the Final Rose
The finale of The Bachelorette is right around the corner, and we don’t know about you, but we’re already busy planning our viewing party. We’re stocking up on tissues, snacks, and, most importantly, plenty of booze. Because if you’ve been keeping up with this season, you know that Hannah Brown‘s final rose ceremony is bound to be messy. With all the steamy makeout moments, explosive fights, and behind-the-scenes drama for two of the three finalists, this season has been the one to watch. And now that the Luke P. show is finally over, we can get back to the good stuff.
So to celebrate Hannah (hopefully) finding her man, we’re gathering all our friends together with cupcakes and rose petals and rosé galore. But if you’re not quite as prepared as we are, let us help you plan a finale viewing party so epic that all your pals will want to give you their finale rose.
The Bachelorette Finale Viewing Party Invitations
Every classy party’s gotta have them, right? But we’re not planning on having a party nearly as nice as these invitations are. After all, we’re total TV talkers and we live to share our own commentary as we watch. To each their own, though. Whether you like to watch in rapt silence or joke the night away, all you need to do is text these rosy invitations to all your friends — and then make sure they actually show up on time. Just because we can record the show and start it a few minutes late doesn’t mean that we will. This train is leaving the station at 8:00 pm on the dot, buddy.
The Bachelorette Viewing Party Games
What’s a party without a little fun? We don’t want to just watch the show, after all, we want to participate. Of course, there are the classics, like taping a paper mustache to the TV screen and drinking every time it lines up perfectly with someone’s face. That’s the best way to keep things light if you’re getting just a little too invested in the emotional drama.
But we came up with our own bingo cards to follow along. Each time something that happens on screen matches a square on your card, cover it up — and whoever gets to five in a row first wins. You can use rose petals to mark each spot, poker chips, or, our personal favorite, a bite-size piece of candy like a Hershey’s kiss. It’s a built-in prize once you win. But chocolate isn’t the only thing we’ll be binging. We’re also planning to get, uh, pretty tipsy. Whether you’re drinking wine or coming up with a signature cocktail of your own creation (or just mixing whatever booze is in your cabinet with whatever juice is in your fridge, no judgment here), a nice alcoholic beverage is the best way to cope with either the over-the-top cheesiness or the unforgettable heartbreak. Not everyone’s favorite gets to win, after all, and Hannah B. can only choose one of her three final suitors. Thinking about that has us looking around for a drink already.
