The Backstreet Boys recreated one of their hottest songs ever while appearing on the June 28 episode of The Tonight Show, opting for a fresh version of "I Want It That Way." Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough showed off their vocal prowess alongside Jimmy Fallon and The Roots. Using classroom instruments for an extra flare, the group nailed their performance and fans were loving it!
The iconic video is already trending and several commenters are enjoying the nostalgia to the fullest. "One of my favorite bands off all time, keep it up guys, you look exactly the same as 15 years ago, we love ya'll," a fan wrote. "I would say Backstreet's back, but they were never gone," another hilariously added, while one more noted: "I didn't know I needed this, but now I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't had got it." The group dressed to impress for the special occasion, rocking all-white ensembles to pay homage to the original music video from 1999.

The Backstreet Boys even performed their catchy jam on The Tonight Show on May 17. Prior to that, the chart-topping group celebrated their growth over the last two decades. "On April 20th, 1993 we became the Backstreet Boys," a post from their Facebook page read. "If you would have told us that 25 years later we would still be making music together, we would have never believed you. Thank you #BSBArmy." The Backstreet Boys still have big hopes for the future as their Las Vegas residency, Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life, continues.
