Get Your First Look at Becca “Do the Damn Thing” Kufrin as the New ‘Bachelorette’
We’re ready to do the damn thing! We all know how Arie Luyendyk Jr. dumped Becca Kufrin just weeks after proposing to her on Season 22 of The Bachelor to pursue his strong, lingering feelings for runner-up Lauren Burnham. The former race car driver got down on one knee for a second time during After the Final Rose and Lauren accepted the proposal.
Now that Arie has (hopefully) made up his mind, Becca is set on finding love again as the next Bachelorette! Becca recently told People that despite some hesitations, she’s definitely ready for this next chapter. “It does scare me. I’m sure it would [scare] any human, knowing that I was just engaged, I was in love. But I have so much love to give and I want just a partner in life,” she said. “I’m not afraid to date these guys and find the one who is the best fit for me — I welcome that with open arms.” Now, one month before the premiere, the network has released the first promo images of the Minnesota native with a rose in hand.

Now that Becca has officially accepted the offer to be the star of Season 14 of The Bachelorette, it’s time to start filming! The first episode of her season will premiere on Memorial Day — May 28, 2018. Currently, Becca is more than halfway through filming.
Becca met five of her future boyfriends during After the Final Rose.
In true Bachelor fashion, five handsome contestants — Lincoln, Chase, Ryan, Darius, and Blake — made their way onto the stage during After the Final Rose and tried to make their best first impressions. Blake may have topped them all as he brought out an actual horse and charmed the former publicist when he said, “As the saying goes when you fall off the horse, you get to get back up again.”
Becca is ready to be the “best damn Bachelorette.”
Meeting the newest contestants of The Bachelorette may have gotten fans excited, but Becca revealed that she is actually really pumped to go through this whole process again. After Chris told her this was the “easiest” decision the network had to make when it came to choosing who would be the next star of the show, she said she was ready too, “once I got past the initial heartbreak. At the end of the day, the show is about finding love. That’s all I want to do. I have so much love to give. Hard yes all around.”
Becca also shared this message on Instagram. “Words can’t express everything I’m feeling tonight, but I’m so beyond grateful for the love, support and well-wishes. I’m beyond excited for this next chapter of my journey and to have shared the start of that all with you tonight. Now we’re doing the damn thing ?.”

Viewers went wild when Becca’s hot AF ex, Ross Jirgl, showed up in the final episodes of Season 22 trying to win her back. While that didn’t work, fans can only wonder if he’s going to make another surprise cameo on her season of The Bachelorette because anything can happen in the Bachelor world.
