As per usual, the Real Housewives of New York reunion did NOT disappoint. One hot topic that stole Wednesday night’s show was Bethenny Frankel‘s stalker ex-husband, Jason Hoppy — as the mother-of-one broke down in tears talking about the incident, which took place back in January of this year.

“It’s been a very negative, inexplicable situation. It’s been $3 million dollars in legal fees, I have to work really f–king hard to make that. You can’t even imagine the torment,” she told host Andy Cohen. Bethenny, who shares a seven-year-old daughter named Bryn with Jason, added, “Any resolution is legally mandated and I’m fine with that. I don’t care what happens, I have faith that somehow I will be able to live a normal free life. But it has to be with zero contact. Because with any contact, this will not end.”

Page Six broke the news earlier this year that the Skinnygirl founder’s ex showed up at their daughter’s school and began to threaten and harass her. According to the NYPD, “The complainant said Hoppy had sent numerous emails and FaceTime calls numbering in the hundreds after a cease and desist letter was sent on Nov. 22, 2016. On Friday, Jan. 27, the suspect approached her and a friend at her child’s school at around 8:15 a.m. and tried to provoke a fight. He said, ‘I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned.’”

At the time, Jason’s lawyer responded to the allegations with, “There are no words to express how saddened Mr. Hoppy is over his ex-wife’s unjustified actions. His only concern is his daughter and intends to vigorously fight these false charges.”

Bethenny and Jason tied the knot in 2010 and finalized their divorce in July 2016.
