Eager to see the first photo of Beyoncé and JAY-Z's twins? So are we, and Jimmy Kimmel tricked us into thinking we'd finally get a glimpse at the famous couple's new son and daughter on his show last night!
While announcing that the singer had given birth, the host teased, "Beyoncé was surrounded by her husband, their doctor, two nurses, and a man blowing a giant fan through her hair," before adding that his team had secured a picture of the babies.
"This afternoon, we managed to get an exclusive first photo of the babies — I won’t tell you how — and I should make you wait until the end of the show to see this, but I can’t wait anymore. Here are the world’s most anticipated twins..." Jimmy said, while a photo of Donald Jr. and Eric Trump flashed across the screen.
Needless to say, that wasn't what fans had hoped for!
As Life & Style previously reported, the Carter twins are still in the hospital after they were born premature last week. A source told TMZ that the pair is being kept "under the lights," which most likely refers to phototherapy — a treatment used to lower high bilirubin levels that cause jaundice in newborns.
Although Beyoncé and JAY-Z have yet to speak out about their new additions, the brunette beauty's father, Mathew Knowles, confirmed the news on Instagram, angering the Beyhive, who wanted to hear it from the queen herself.
"That SNAKE Matthew Knowles [sic] was the one who leaked the news about Beyoncé giving birth to the twins," one fan tweeted, while another said, "The #Beyhive ain't ever gonna forgive Matthew Knowles [sic] for cheating on Miss Tina and stressing Beyonce out."
While we continue to wait for the real first photo, we're just happy to know that those babies are going to be fine!
