In video from the performance, obtained by TMZ, the adorable music scion gets in formation with several of her classmates for an energetic number set to Earth, Wind & Fire’s 1978 hit “September.” Blue, who rocked long braids and wore a light pink leotard with a matching tutu, stood out in the center of the group — just like Queen Bey, 35, did during her Destiny’s Child days!
In the clip, the spirited five-year-old waves her arms, nods her head, kicks her legs, and twirls in circles during the routine. While some of the other mini dancers appear distracted, Blue seems ready for showbiz as she remains fully focused on the choreography.
This isn’t the first time Blue has showed off her star power. As the Beyhive may recall, she made a cameo in her mom’s 2016 video for “Formation.” She even lent her vocals to her hip-hop star dad’s track “Glory,” which was released just two days after her birth in January 2012.
Beyoncé opened up about the joy of being Blue's mom in an interview for Garage magazine’s Spring/Summer 2016 issue. “Out of everything I’ve accomplished, my proudest moment hands down was when I gave birth to my daughter Blue,” the Grammy winner said at the time.
As previously reported, the pregnant “Irreplaceable” singer took to Instagram in February to let fans know that she and hubby Jay, 47, will be expanding their family of three to five when they welcome twins later this year. "We would like to share our love and happiness," she captioned a shot of herself holding her bare baby bump. "We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes."
