Time flies when you’re having fun...being a mom!
Total Divas star Brie Bella she shared her journey on the road to motherhood with her fans, so of course, she’s sharing regular updates on what it’s like being a first-time mom! The former WWE Divas champ posted a video update about her daughter Birdie Joe and mommy life just one month after welcoming her first child with her husband, Smackdown Live general manager Daniel Bryan.
In the clip, she thanked her doula for giving her confidence going into labor and for all of her coaching, along with all of the nurses and her OBGYN. She also thanked her acupuncturist for introducing her to a book that’s helped her understand that it’s okay to ask for help during the first few weeks of motherhood.
“Just how we should not be having babies alone and that you do need a village to help you, you need a lot of women to help you,” Brie said. “For some reason, in the modern world, we feel that we have to do everything on our own and we have to be super mom — but we don’t.
Brie also said that she had a postpartum doula who spent four days with her after she brought Birdie home from the hospital and she helped her understand everything she needed to learn as a first-time mom.
But even though it's already been a month since she gave birth, Brie is wasting no time getting her pre-baby body back! She's already starting to document her weight loss journey on social media.
"I have zero shame in my postpartum belly!!” the 33-year-old wrote in her caption. “Graced with some stretch marks and 20 more pounds to lose I'm finally able to start a little cardio. Join me on my journey to getting back my pre-pregnancy body. It's gonna be a long road but I'm ready!!!”
