Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer has confirmed that she was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Luckily, the cancer was caught early, and Camille underwent a radical hysterectomy on Friday.
Camille, a former model who was married to Emmy-winning Frasier actor Kelsey Grammer, has never been shy talking about her health issues. On Real Housewives, Camille talked about her IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), which she works to raise awareness about.
Because of 45-year-old Camille's chronic health problem, her two kids with Kelsey, son Jude and daughter Mason, were delivered by a surrogate.
"Ms. Grammer expresses gratitude to all the amazing health care professionals who have taken such loving and nurturing care of her," Camille's rep said in a statement. "She urges all women to be aware of genetic factors relating to women's cancers and get regular checkups."
Since her split from Kelsey and her departure from Real Housewives, Camille has been quietly dating 35-year-old attorney Dimitri Charalambopoulos.
