Caroline Manzo Seemingly Shades Teresa Giudice After Her Tell-All Interview: ‘I Have to Laugh’
Awkward! After Teresa Giudice appeared on Andy Cohen’s Joe and Teresa: Unlocked special, her former RHONJ costar Caroline Manzo couldn’t help but throw some shade at the brunette beauty on Monday, October 28 — one day after the Bravo interview aired.
Caroline, 58, uploaded two clips to her Instagram Stories. In the first one, she sang along to Whitney Houston’s song “If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful,” referring to the end of Teresa’s interview where she felt inspired by a quote that was said by Sophia Loren. “If you haven’t cried, your eyes aren’t beautiful,” the 47-year-old said. “These eyes have done a lot of crying. I must have the most beautifulest eyes in the world.” The Manzo’d With Children alum shared a video of herself in her kitchen, saying, “I don’t typically dance or sing this early in the morning, but I have to laugh,” she said. “I couldn’t find the word ‘beautifulest’ anywhere. I’m sorry, but you’ll be hearing from me soon.”
During the sit-down, Andy, 51, recalled when Caroline had a feeling that Teresa’s husband, Joe Giudice, was going to go to jail in the future. “Prediction: something may happen where someone has to go somewhere. Teresa is going to have to pull herself up by her boot straps and take over,” she previously said. “She will say, ‘You know what? I tried, I stood by him, but I am going to have to divorce him now, and I am going to show my daughters what it’s like to be strong and independent on your own and survive.’”
Of course, Teresa didn’t appreciate Caroline’s harsh comments at the time. “It’s just so sad,” Teresa said. “She has lived that crooked life. I have never lived that crooked life. I guess she has and who she comes from and where she came from … How could she predict that? Did she have anything to do with what happened between Joe and I? Was she a rat? By her saying that, why did she say that? Why? Those words would never come out of my life regarding anybody. Anybody. Maybe [she called the feds on us.] You never know. Why would she predict those words?” However, Joe claimed he knows “who went to the feds.” He added, “Let’s just forget that.”
The Let Me Tell You Something author and the mom of four appeared on the first five seasons of RHONJ together, but they never got along. “I’m forever grateful for it, of course,” she said on her son Albie Manzo’s podcast, “Dear Albie,” in April about her time on the show. “But I just didn’t like what it became. I wasn’t running from anything — you know me, I’m like a bull in a China shop when I’m presented with something, and I feel strongly about it, so that’s no fear there. But it’s just not the way I live my life.”
Even though Caroline hasn’t returned to the show in a long time, she revealed she would be ready to face Teresa and Danielle Staub. “I am your truth, and they can’t handle that,” she admitted. “I am your truth, and that’s their problem. So, this truth has no problem going back to tell her truth, but you’re going to treat me the way I deserve to be treated. And if you don’t, I live my life happily ever after. There’s no thirst here. My house is paid for. Life is good.”
