This is why children can never have nice things. A Sephora makeup artist’s Facebook post is going viral after she snapped a photo of a completely wrecked Make Up Forever tester palette that was ruined by a kid. See the upsetting pic in the video below!

Brittany Nelson admits she and her friend “about passed out when we saw this atrocity,” and shares that although she’s brought her daughter into makeup stores before, she has “a strict ‘hands in pockets’ rule” and limits trips to 10 minutes.

Nelson says she didn’t catch the child in the act, but told Insider she walked into Sephora “right as a lady and her kid were hustling out of there. The glittery footprints helped us decipher it was a tiny human.”

One particularly annoyed Facebook commenter wrote, “There’s no excuse for this. Parents take their kids into businesses, completely ignore them like they’re not there, and expect the work staff to babysit them. A good parent never leaves their child out of sight not just because of damage to the store’s products but leaving a young child alone puts them in danger.” Someone is landing on Santa’s naughty list this year!
