Live on, Chrissy Teigen. The 32-year-old mom — in classic Chrissy fashion — recently posted a photo of herself making a salad while topless. With only giant salad emojis to cover herself, the Cravings author shared a direct message to her haters. She captioned the pic, "plz don’t shame me I am a strong proud salad making woman just being natural and trying to live my life."
Most of her followers were quick to support her confident outlook especially since she's no stranger to mommy-shaming. "If she's happy and comfortable in her house no one should be rude 💯," one commenter wrote. Another added, "John Legend has struck GOLD!!!!"
And, it looks like husband John Legend definitely knows how incredible his wife is — and understands the hypocrisy behind mommy-shaming. In 2016, shortly after the couple welcomed daughter Luna, Chrissy and John went out for a date-night. Totally innocent, right? Not according to some followers. Haters immediately criticized the then new-mom for going out so soon after giving birth.
But, John was quick to clap-back and defend his wife. "Funny there's no dad-shaming. When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn't have to take it all. We'll split it," he tweeted. The famous couple is currently pregnant with their second child (a boy!) who's due later this year. “They’re both excited and are looking forward to the baby arriving next spring," a source told In Touch. "Luna can’t wait to have a little brother. They think she’s going to make a great big sister!" How could she not? Especially with Chrissy and John as her parents.
Alas, the haters still don't seem to ~get~ it: "I mean it's all right but why do you post this on social media?" one follower commented. Because, why not?
