LOLAmicable Exes! Christina Anstead Pokes Fun at Tarek El Moussa’s ‘Paw Patrol’ Halloween Costume
Who says exes can’t get along? Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa took to Instagram on Friday, October 25, to share a Halloween costume photo with his son, Brayden — and his ex-wife, Christina Anstead, couldn’t help but comment.
“If you ever wondered what ‘Dad Life’ looks like, this is it!! So I asked Bray, ‘What do you want daddy to be for Halloween,’ he says, ‘Paw Patrol,'” the HGTV stud, 38, shared. He then added that his girlfriend, Heather Rae Young, helped him execute the look. “I told @heatherraeyoung to get me something from Paw Patrol. Little did I know I would be an overheated cow or dog or whatever I am lol. Anyone dressing up with their kiddos for Halloween!? Mr. Handsome looks so cute.”
One day later, Christina, 36, commented, “Please wear this trick or treating, thank you.” In response, her Flip or Flop costar teased, “@christinaanstead 5$ [sic.]” LOL. We love their relationship, and apparently, others do too. “I love the two of you. Friendship is a beautiful gift to give your children,” one fan wrote, while another joked, “Only $5? I’ll pay it! Would love to see a video of you trick or treating in that costume! 👏”
Although the exes have happily moved on — Christina is now married to Ant Anstead — it’s clear their kids Taylor, 9, and Brayden, 4, take priority. “Really, there’s only one tip that people need to remember: The kids are first. Like, that’s it, you know?” Tarek told Life & Style during HGTV’s A Very Brady Renovation premiere on September 5. “If you remember to always put the kids first, the rest falls into place.”
Christina recently gave birth to a son named Hudson, and Tarek gushed on Instagram that Taylor got to meet him right away. “She got to meet her new brother Hudson yesterday and she was thrilled!!!” the real estate guru captioned a video with his daughter on September 7, before offering a helping hand. “I can’t wait to meet the little guy also! If Christina and Ant pay well, I may babysit. 😎”
Considering the blended fam attended a movie premiere together, it’s pretty safe to say Tarek and Christina are nailing the whole coparenting thing. #Goals!
