Fans Are Worried Clare Crawley Is Falling for Juan Pablo 2.0 on ‘The Bachelor Winter Games’
Run, girl, run! Fans are warning Clare Crawley to stay away from her Bachelor Winter Games crush Christian Rauch because he looks just like her ex Juan Pablo Galavis. Bachelor Nation obviously still has PTSD from Clare’s breakup with the Latino soccer player — and don’t want to see her get hurt again.
“Christian is a handsome man with a cute accent who seems to value women for their looks only. Clare, have you learned nothing from Juan Pablo,” one viewer tweeted before another added, “Clare, you literally only like Christian because he is the spitting image of Juan Pablo. In 2014, Juan Pablo broke up with Clare on the reality dating competition, but according to the blonde beauty, viewers did not see the worst of their interactions. During their final one-on-one date, the former couple went on a helicopter ride where Juan Pablo whispered something obscene in Clare’s ear. “He chose to tell me something that no woman wants to hear,” she said at the time. “That he doesn’t know me and some sexual thing I don’t want to repeat. Putting their resemblance aside, is Christian basically Juan Pablo 2.0? Well, the hunky model, who competed on both the German and Swiss versions of The Bachelor, did seem to only focus on Clare’s appearance during the premiere episode and he does have an accent. So, fans aren’t completely wrong to compare the men. However, we’re going to give Christian the benefit of the doubt and blame the language barrier.
As for Clare, she is just on the show to prove that being a single woman is not a bad thing. “I wish I could put a voice on single women who don’t settle for less than anything amazing,” she told ET. “Even though I haven’t yet found that person for me, it’s a whole heck of a lot better than settling for something that hasn’t been good for me. And I’ve been there and I’ve done that. Heck yes, I’m single and I sleep until as late as I want, I travel whenever I want, I do whatever I want, and I actually created a really good life for myself.”
