‘Clarissa Explains It All’ Creator Hopeful for a Reboot! (EXCLUSIVE)
It has been more than two decades since Clarissa Explains It All ended. Now, creator Mitchell Kriegman is telling Life & Style in an exclusive interview that he is hopeful there will be a reboot of the ’90s cult hit.
Mitchell hints at a revival and reveals that he has his heroine’s journey all mapped out: “There is nothing that anybody is ready to announce yet, but I am hopeful,” Mitchell says. “I think Clarissa should go on forever!”

In his book Things I Can’t Explain: A Clarissa Novel, the precocious teen has blossomed into a 26-year-old navigating the world of print journalism in NYC.
As the show’s fans remember, the pint-size powerhouse frequently delivered her own news reports, so star Melissa Joan Hart agrees Clarissa would be covering current events in a 2017 reunion.

But she sees her as a TV anchor. “I think she’d be good at that,” Melissa tells Life & Style. “She was smart and she was sassy.”
